As per the norm, save your retinas: click here for a version on a black background, where you'll see shadow detail
As per the poll that I put out recently asking for people's feedback on whether I should submit my portraiture/human photography, I have decided to start sharing some of my favourite works.
I had the utmost pleasure of photographing Imogen just after the sun had risen. To say she's a natural is an understatement; she needed only the very basic direction to pull off what was required.
She is a remarkably beautiful young lady and I look forward to hopefully working with her again in the future for some conceptual photography.
I wasn't entirely sure which category to place this in, so, I've chosen Emotive Portraits for the time being. If a better choice exists, please let me know and I'll duly move it to the appropriate location.
I would love to hear people's thoughts about the composition, what could have been done better, and, so on and so forth. I'm here to learn just as much as you are.
Canon EOS 5D Mark II, Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8L USM
1/320s f/8.0 at 135.0mm iso100
Thanks for viewing, and, I'd appreciate any feedback (hint: use the critique functionality).
Regards,
H

Beautiful mood and pose I really like this capture the way it is, nothing to "improve" as for me
