Red Tussock Dusk by octane2 Red Tussock Dusk by octane2
The final rays of warmth fade away to a chilly evening on one of many red tussock covered mountains. Note the fresh dusting of snow in the distant mountain ranges.

I made this photograph on the enchanting Lindis Pass, where there are countless photographic opportunities.

Ahhhh *sighs*

I took a holiday to NZ last year, and drove right around the South island. Lindis Pass is amazing, so ruggedly beautiful.

This amazing photo takes me rushing back.

Incredible!

This makes me wish I was back where I grew up. It looked a lot like this out the back of my father's farm. I remember chasing the sun home in the old landy. What a great shot!

Fantastic shot of the pass. Would be my favorite road pass in NZ, even tops Arthurs I think. Haven't made it there with my DSLR yet but is high on the to do list.

leilani-m,

New Zealand is simply paradise. There's no other way to describe it. I hope you get to visit some day, too.

I hope to move there in the next 12-18 months.

Regards,
H

It should be easy for you to move there :) To me it is a bit difficult, I need a visa, and job to get visa if I want to move there. And it is almost impossible to get a job from another part of the world :) And of course I have to go to IELTS and get great score :)
